Oklahoma City based Powerhouse Blues Project is a high energy blues band with powerful vocals and instrumentals. The band has been members of, and involved in, the Oklahoma Blues Society for the past three years. Everyone in the band is a blues lover and wants to continue that same creative and innovative spirit that helped create the blues. All members have studied music and understand more than most how blues has influenced modern music. If you take a driving rhythm section, vocal harmony, soulful energy, and powerful leads – that’s the five piece sound of The Powerhouse Blues Project. Each member is a seasoned musician and entertainer. Singer, guitarist, and band leader Steve Coleman started performing professionally in the ‘70’s; he has toured throughout the U.S, and in Japan and Europe.
